Do You Have What it takes to be one of Penn Foster's "Outstanding Graduates"?
Dear Penn Foster Graduates,
Penn Foster is searching for nominees for the Distance Education and Training Council's (DETC) 2013 Outstanding Graduate and Famous Alumni program. The DETC recognizes the achievement of millions who study through distance education, and is also a well-respected accrediting agency.
We would like to hear from recent Penn Foster grads about how their education was successful and how it helped to jump start their current careers. Here are a few guidelines the DETC are considering:
- Did you maintain a B average and graduate in the last 5 years?
- Why did you enroll at Penn Foster and how long did it take you to graduate from your program?
- How have you contributed to your chosen field, and how have you served the public using the knowledge and skills you gained while at Penn Foster?
If you believe your education and career have been successful and are worthy of recognition, then leave a comment on our student community post here. If you haven’t yet registered for the community you can do so here. The deadline for submissions is October 15th,2012. Nominees will be reviewed by Penn Foster's education department, and the winning nominees will be announced by the DETC in early 2013.
We look forward to hearing about your Penn Foster experiences!
